Last year I started a list of 50 things to complete before I am 50 this year. Not only has this been a great way to achieve my own goals, meet new friends and have fun but, more importantly, I have been able to help others by raising some money along the way.
I believe that Mental health is just as important as physical health but can get overlooked or misunderstood.
After listening to a talk from Jamie and Jason I was so impressed by their dedication to help sufferers in a proactive way that I decided I wanted to help in some way. So, last July, I completed a wing walk in aid of Rock2Recovery, raising £500.
Future goals include a 20 mile hike along the Dorset coast as well as then completing the 3 peaks in 3 months. However, I am very aware that, in these uncertain times, these might be further delayed or even cancelled and I do not want this to impact on R2R as they rely solely on donations. So, in the meantime, if you can spare a few pounds to help raise invaluable funds to support the phenomenal work this organisation does I would really appreciate it.
