Caz Painter
Sometimes the hardest words to say are 'please help me'. And having been in the position to need help with my own mental health before, I know it can be even harder still to find someone who will listen.
Rock 2 Recovery are tireless and ceaseless in their mission to seek out and help Veterans and current serving members of our armed forces and their families, and our blue light services, struggling to deal with the effects of stress. I have experienced first hand how profound an effect their coaching can have after they helped me a couple of years ago, and I will be forever grateful for this. They are a group of incredible humans who really do embody the philosophy 'Saving Lives - Changing Lives' providing specialist change management coaching where it is needed most, often combining this with encouraging outdoor activity.
This year I will be taking part in 3 of Rock 2 Recovery's events; Hadrian's Wall, Ben Lomond and South West Coastal Path. For Ben Lomond, luckily two of my friends Anita and Jeanette (JAniCaz for short!) have volunteered to yomp at the back with me. Having known them for a grand total of 55 years collectively, I am sure we can find something to gas about and make some more memories along the way!
Anything you are able to spare to donate to this incredible organisation really is appreciated.
If you are a school representative donating for an electronic copy of 'The Little Girl in the Bright Red Coat' children's book about remembrance, please email me a screenshot of your donation confirmation, to the address provided, so I can send it to you.
Thank you X
