500 Mile Rock 2 Recovery Challenge
A team of Royal Navy Senior Upper Yardman, undergoing Initial Officer Training will undertake the challenge of running 500 miles for Rock2Recovery (R2R).
A diverse cohort comprising of a Nursing Officer, a Royal Navy Aviator, Logisticians, Marine Engineers, Air Engineers and Training Management Officers. Who have deployed globally and understand first-hand the unique challenges faced by our Armed Forces community. Therefore, they recognise the crucial support provided by R2R for Service Personnel, Veterans, Blue light agencies and their families in times of need, inspiring the fight against stress.
Due to the pandemic the team have formed a bubble to enable them to engage with their training in a COVID safe environment. As a result, they have chosen to raise awareness and support for R2R, to give something back in their spare time.
We aim to raise £500, earning one pound for every mile run.
